Novella (19,150 words)

An experimental guided missile (GM 2.5, hence the title) goes astray and crashes on the Greek/Bulgarian border. Captain Peter Doland is assigned to recover it before assorted hostile groups find it. He does so with the aid of a Greek guide and his glamorous daughter, but not before undergoing various setbacks and dangers.
